I know what turn you're talking about.
That turn scars me sometimes too, becuase you go uphill and you really have lack of visibility than all of a sudden not only the bridge makes a sharp left, but its falling down aswell.

I'm glad he is going to make it out.

i dont even take that turn at 85 and i ride it just about everyday. Plus his bike was hella slammed. The fastest i think i have ever even taken that turn comfortably was 80, and thats still to fast for a turn that might have gravel and on it.

I just got off the phone with josh... he said that lastnight his lung collapsed, they had to insert a 1/2 inch tube inder his right arm to inflate it.. they had to go through his broken ribs... he broke 2 ribs on the right and his right coller bone. he can't eat, they are feeding him fluids through IV, but he is out of intensive care...

i done that one 59 turn at 120mph...well not really a turn at 60, but feels like a turn at 120. :icon_smil

get well soon...i hate big group rides. 3-4 is my fav. people u know, at your own pace, knowing each others movement/signals most of the time.

You can take that curve on 59 before the chimney rock exit at 120 but I wouldn't recommend it.
