Re: STATUS ON THE RIDER DOWN TONIGHT???

I'm sure people will be able to visit tonight when he has his own room... i have been doing some research and from what i saw, heard, and read... it sounds like he may have a linear skull fracture which caused* some hemorrhaging... he should be ok if that is whats wrong... but head trauma injuries like these can be fatal, but by his vital signs and his alertness lastnight i do not think it is that severe. just hope for the best

he was on a gixxer 600 his name is Josh he's 23

Re: STATUS ON THE RIDER DOWN TONIGHT???

Sounds like everything is working out for the better. Sorry about the bits of misinformation in my account of what happened. Just trying to share my info. . . even if it turns out flawed :eh:

Well it sounds like Josh will live to ride again.

Seems like something bad has happened at every ride this week except the Mon. night ride Memorial to Allen Pkwy. Other than getting split up that was flawless.

All my thoughts are with Josh. . . let us know how it goes. If they have Wi-Fi in the Hospital give that man a chance to tell us whats up right:

Not a good idea to remove someone's helmet after a big crash like that. Should of left that to the paramedics. :eh:

riding the freeways like they are a track can get you jacked up/killed in a hurry...

and because it's not a track there are sooo many uncertainties that can make you wreck - regardless of your riding experience...

taking it up into the triples on public roads has never/will never be a skill... it's always... just a gamble... with your life... :eh:

ya'll be careful out there peepz...

here is what happened from what josh told me.....
he punched it going over this little hill and when he was coming down and into the turn at 59 onto 288 he was going too fast(85mph)... he knew he wouldnt make it... so he slammed on the back brake and it didnt slow him down enough, thats when he slammed on the front brake and then he flipped over the bike and into the guardrail.. after he hit, the bike rolled over him... that is what he told me....

Hind Sight, slow it down and lean... don't slam the front brake. Better to low side in my opinion and most people don't know how far they can really lean the bike. Glad he is doing alright. That is a ruff way to go down, especially on the street.
