Jody's never run there before. I don't know what kind of times he runs there, but when the CMRA comes to that track on July 4th, I think everyone will see a whole 'nuther level of racing.

Besides that, it's not always the lap times that make a difference in who's "fast". No doubt about it that running anywhere in the 40's is respectable, don't mis-understand me, but there is a big difference in "racing" speed versus "track day" speed. It's akin to the difference in being fast on the street, and being fast on the track.

Not trying to take anything away from Irish (I've never seen him ride), but I have raced with Jody, especially when he was on Vinyl Edge Racing in endurance (his exhaust can almost hit me in turn 7 at TWS (Texas World Speedway)...), and racing is a whole different level of riding at the track. Jody's not the fastest guy at the track, but he can definitely hold his own.

Yep. That was my SV. Awesome pics. It took a little getting used to but I was happy by the end of the day.

Sassy Chassis took a TON of pics today and is sorting them now.

I heard Jody was running low 40's on a half day at MSRH! He was leaving as we got there around one! Clayton did well today but I will let him tell his own story! Irish was hauling as usual! Can't wait to see him at the CCS races in April! There were only 26 bikes today out there! All in all I think everyone had a good time!

I,m not being a hater, clayton is cool, but comon Jody has been racing for like 14 years, and clayton is just starting track days, and yes he is fast diping into like 149,s but jody runs like consistent 140 or faster that is like 9 secs faster per lap, may not sound like much but over a lap or two that is out of sight. sorry it is what it is

Had a blast today. Was also great to meet Jody, he could of left me in his dust if he really wanted and I sure could learn alot from him. Was great dicing it up for the short time he was there though. Also thanks to Buck and the crew for a great days riding.

jody... he's a beast. i'd call low 40s in 3 sessions.

Clayton, hit his sub 1:50 lap with room to spare on the stunt bike.

and i got a couple of words that will wrap up the day for me...
