Prayers and thoughts needed please

http://www.galvestondailynews.com/st...382af629311a9c

Wednesday evening, one of my sons closest friends was crushed under his truck while trying to work on the muffler and install a lowering kit. Unfortunately it was just his head that was under the truck and crushed. He was flown out to UTMB Galveston where he was in very critical condition. Amazingly, he's improving daily and they've even taken him off of the meds that kept him in a medical coma (forgive me for not knowing the name of the meds). He's not completely in the clear yet and only time will tell if he's suffered any type of brain damage. However, he does seem to be showing signs that he's aware of the people he knows around him. Josh's family could really use everyones thoughts and prayers right now. This is just so sad, he's a terrific, bright and witty kid. Anyhow, I'd really appreciate it if everyone would take a moment and add them to your thoughts.

Thanks, Stacy

Man, this is so sad to hear. My prayers are with him and his family.

I remember when I was a little kid, my dad was starting to work on one of his cars. He had just jacked up the car, then turned around to get the stands (which i didn't know he was going to get). So I was curious and proceeded to crawl on my back under the car (just like dad), and the next thing I knew, he yanked me out so fast, I was completely disoriented. He yelled the outa me, even though I was just a 12 or 13 yr old kid. Then he showed me how to safely setup the stands. He was an ER Doctor, so he's seen alot of accidents like this in his lifetime.

I hope he pulls through. Sounds like he's a fighter!

Very tragic news, definately thinking of him and his family in their time of need.
