'07 Step-2 (ok, it's my daughter's)

I've ridden by there a couple of times, since it's so close to my house. I never really got a good vibe there, maybe 'cause I'm on my 919

I had stopped by a few times at JCI back in '89-early '90s or so (a few times on my 650 Nighthawk, and maybe once on my 600 Hurricane), and it was friendlier a crowd. I stopped by once in the last year of JCI, and I was starting to get the same vibe I now get at PP1, plus I didn't like all the squidly behavior that became prevalent at that time.

I like the MH Meet n Greets, though, because everyone "knows" each other in one way or the other, and you always feel welcome, no matter what your ride. I think the M&G concept represents the new era, via internet forums like MH. So fuggedabout PP1, 'cause unless it's an organized M&G, I see no point to go there except to pose.

Posers are posers... all they want is some attention. I find it best to bs them a whole lot for fun, or ignore them completely. Don't let it get to you.

I just returned home from pp1[it's the only motorcycle spot that i know of near my house] and saw a group of of riders wearing shirts that portrayed "houstonsportriders.com" on the back if I'm not mistaken. anyone knows them here?
they seemed cool, nevertheless I did not talk to them since I was too lazy to raise up from my chair and momentarely postpone the delicate sipping of my latte.

people like that. They make a bad name for sport bike riders. But really, we all support eachother. They were as fake as a $2 rolex. Next time, check out their chicken strips, that will tell you they dont REALLY ride, they just pose.

If they could have seen Dave C and Logan 5 at the track a couple of weeks ago they would of shut their mouths. You had that 250 going around the track pretty good. And I was impressed with the 650r as well. The majority of those guys would say "$cr3w that" if you mentioned the track.
