I am going crazy.

Sent my wheels to be powder coated, and didn't think it would be that big of a deal to be without my bike for a week.

I was wrong.

I feel like some sort of junkie, can't concentrate on work, just sit here and think about my bike... anyone else get this feeling without their bike?

yeah, i don't know why it's so hard this time... i stripped it down to the bare frame back in december and didn't have it running again until feburary, but now after just 6 days it's hitting me harder. i guess it's just the nicer weather and the fact that i don't really even have anything else to do to it right now, so can't even work on it.

yep, same bike, just chopped (removed is more accurate) the front fender, rear fender and seat, pulled off all the chrome heat shielding, painted most of it flat black, switched to drag bars, billet grips, added a 139dB air horn, wrapped the pipes with thermal wrap, got rid of the handlebar controls and stock blinkers (will go back on when i figure out a clean way to do the switch)

just sent the wheels for powder coat, and will be switching to a dual headlight soon. next winter (or june if it's as rainy as last year) i'll strip it down again and get the frame, swingarm, handlebars, risers, triple tree, and fork powdercoated, and do some of the engine work i've been wanting to do... i found a stroker kit for it, and would like to get some head work done, researching turbo possibilities right now... just never satisfied.

i told my wife i need to get another bike to ride while i'm modding this one
