should I buy this bike for $4800?

http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/597707252.html

this bike is the only one that is in very clean mechanical condition (2kmiles) but has a ding in the tank and a minor scratch on the other side. It was dropped but at zero speed - no road rash. The owner has a calif. title in his possession.

Thanks I appreciate the advice, man. Yeah that's what i felt he is asking too much. I offerred him 4600. It's a trade in price for that bike without the dings and drops. They really dont bother me cosmetically but i dont think dealer gives him 4000 for that.

Anyways I offered him 4600, he said 5000. I said that even if we were to meet at 48, i still have doubts about it...

Yeah man shadow money is burning my pocket but its only 4400. I will have to cough up another several hundreds plus tax&registration costs...

that number is pulled out of his a**. He realised it. I offered him 4600, which i think is a fair price... but now we are at 4800 and i have doubts.

Why is it they always seem to fall in the driveway or garage only, yet have a nice big dent in the tank?

thanks for the advice guys, yeah my gut says no...

Actually i loved the Z750 more than Z1000. But that one i looked didnt have a title and it seemed like a lot of hassle... I will be on the lookout for another Z750. For my exp level, weight and living conditions I think Z750 is a better match for me... I also liked the bigger upper fairing on 750. the only minus is its gauges.. Z1000 gauge is cooler...

nice bike 4 sure but just a bit steep in the price.
I would wait till he comes down on the price or something else pops up.
