RIP - Regardless of cause - lousy thing to happen to anyone, especially if they were just relaxing with friends having a beer.

Still - 2:30 is really late, and are there streetlights there yet?

Racer X - really no need to speculate - you might be right, but perhaps he could have sneezed at the wrong time too, and lost his turning radius enough to force him off-road at the wrong time...

How about just a bit of sorrow for a fallen brother?

the longer you ride, the more you'll figure out that just cuz he ride's, doesn't make him a "brother".

over 50% of motorcycle deaths include alky, odds are ?

Racer-X - Whatever, dude. Brother or not, a fallen PERSON then, ok? Another Human Being was involved in an accident and got his head cut off. (in my Religious Faith, he is a brother regardless). The cause is not yet known, and casting doubt is just not really helpful unless you know the facts. Just let it go. Be sad for the guy ok?

a helmet makes a head easier to find because of the shiny surface. easier to see when scanning a field for the head.
but I wear one because it's a safer bet than NOT wearing one.

Rip.

I think some people need to quit making "wagers" about circumstances unknown by them.

Lets show some class.
