So... The screws are in her ankles. The spot was infectious, which is bad news. 6 Months of IV antibiotics. B is doing as well as can be expected, we are waiting for S to wake up. Because of the insurance fiasco, our dad is having all the hospital bills sent to him. We hope to surprise him with a check next week from all the generous donations you guys have made!

You can't possibly understand the feeling, knowing we have friends like all of you... I thank for you and for Dannyboy who introduced us to MotoHouston ~ our family of friends.

I'm not in the position to even pretend marriage again. I can get insured with a paper claiming we are married, but it's harder for the kids, because of shared custody. I can try again for Medicaid again this year, and if not I will sign them up for CHIPs- it's the low cost alternative to cobra - $800+ per month (which is why we didn't choose that option).
