I'm debating. I think I have off this Good Friday. Tex, plan on riding some new roads, like some of the "secret" places near Livingston?

Actually headed West; lunch in Fayetteville.

There are no "secret" roads around Livingston.. that is just "mis-information"... they are all gravel and crappy.. trust me... don't bother even looking out there....

I've never ridden that route either, or been on such a long ride in a group so I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me what to expect. I've been aching for a ride since I got my flat taken care of, and a 230 mile expedition sounds like an awesome way to learn all about a different tire.

No and yes; don't want to put any specific routes out. This is definately not the "usual" route.

We wait at all the turns and pretty much cruise on the straights, and I don't know the definition " to the walls"

For any that haven't read "The Pace". This is a good guide for relaxed but fun group riding. clicky

I'd rather not wait at the turn, that's where the fun is at. In slow then add throttle till the bike stops falling into the turn. We do wait, nobody gets abandoned.

I don't think anyone will be dragging knees. This isn't that kind of ride. Besides, Tex wears jeans so if he's dragging a knee then that's a serious problem.

Well I don't mean AT the curves that IS where the funs at. I mean at intersections or turns at stop signs ect. Got my front tire on today so I should be good to go.

I google mapped the meet spot. So it shouldn't be a prob to find but if someone could PM and swap cell numbers just in case, I would greatly appreciate it.

+1 yeah, "mis-information"... gravel, crappy, and all that stuff...

I ended up taking today, or tomorrow - however you want to look at it, off for vacation, but taking the family to the rodeo, otherwise, I'd join you.

You guys have a safe ride!!!

It was a good ride. We had one go down though, I think that part was Racer Road. Jim's wallet couldn't hang with us, it freaked out and laid itself down. We had to turn around and pick up the pieces. It was leather though so it took the fall pretty well.

It was nice meeting new peeps. I also met Azylum. He wasn't as tall as I thought he would be. I thought he was a among men and 10 ft tall...
