Aluminum Anodizing?????

Has anyone used someone in Houston for aluminum anodizing?

I'm getting some parts made locally and will need to have them anodized and I'd like to know if there is someone who has used somebody that will do small jobs?

Thanks,
Jim

Scooter if I can't get it anodized I'll be back at you.

This is what I'm doing. I'm adapting a different wheel and rotor to my bike and because the rotor is bigger than the original I'm having a bracket made that will offset the caliper. So I would like for the bracket to come close to matching the caliper and rotor. Here is is.

Don't know for sure just yet but it will likely be somewhere between $250 and 500. I know that's a lot but it will be worth it for me.

Yeah I've looked at this before. If I thought I might be doing a lot more of this kind of stuff I might go this route, but I just don't need to go into more work on my part. I need to just get it done. It is good info though.

Yeah I looked into this also, but I'd have to buy the whole front end off something like a CBR900RR (which is what these wheels came off of), then take the triples and have a neck custom fitted to it, then modify it to fit my headlight and cowl to and the speedo, and have the front fender of the 900 repainted to match the bike. Way to much and $$$$.

I wanted to go this route originally, but now that I spent the $ to Race Tech my stock forks, it's no longer an option. There's a guy XRCajun and I know, who did a 900RR forks and wheel swap (or was it a RC51 swap?), and his setup looks sweet!

This is on my Honda 919, I'm putting on some custom Dynamags from a '98 CBR900RR, my original rotors are 296mm, the 900 rotors I'm adapting are 310mm.

Got all that?
