and my rule of thumb for $ and friends, is any $ i loan i never expect to see again. so i won't loan out alot.

If the agreement was payment in x amount of time, and the time has gone by and then some, I would have to go get my stuff back. "Friends" don't do friends like that.

Write it off. Call him up and say you can have it. Once you GIVE something away, you are no longer expecting payment for said item. And your stress level goes down tremendously.

I speak from experience. Quickest way to get rid of someone is loan them money. It has been my experience once I make up my mind to write it off, then it is no longer hanging over my head, therefore I'm not constantly off about it anymore.

Ask yourself ONE QUESTION. Is $350 worth the headache? If your answer is no, then write it off

well that is why you dont make business with friends.

Have you ever seen a bronx tale?
there was a good quote in that movie," if you want to lose a friend, you borrow them money"

good luck

just go have a sit down with this person and simply tell them your friendship is not worth avoiding each other due to them not paying for whatever it is, that you are there simply to get your stuff no harm no foul, and maybe your friendship can be repaired.

I rarely borrow $$ from friends, but when I do I always pay them back on time if not before. I guess I'm doing it all wrong.

But I agree with you. Lending $$ or anything of value for that matter to a friend is bad mojo.
