horrible fullsize trucks.

titan is a more reliable and better suited as a truck... no whimpy aluminum high horspower car motor.

id stay away from diesel. i get better fuel mileage than most diesels out there, and spend 125-150 a week on fuel. its only gonna get worse. if you absolutely need a truck, get you a tacoma, decent mileage!

very true.

I wouldn't buy new.

What are you going to be using it for? Do you need a diesel for towing or something? Thats some expensive fuel these days!

if you want diesel with good fuel mileage get a cummins. the inline 6 is hard to beat for longevity and fuel mileage. stay away from 4x4's they will kill mileage.

The 6 speed... Is yuck...

1-4 there is no GEAR! When I test drove it... The turbo would not spool to make power in the lower gears!

I have a 07 2500HD duramax allison single cab (six speed). Sticker price was almost $36k, but they paid less than $28k for it (company owned work truck).

I am very impressed with it so far (20k miles). I pull a 26' gooseneck that regularly sees 10k+lbs and it doesn't struggle a bit. The mpg could be better, especially if I kept my foot out of the floorboard. But overall, I like it a whole lot more than my old '03 similar truck.
