Hyosung GV650, dyno proven 65 hp stock, i'll get 45 mpg or better if i'm easy on it, plenty of power to ride 2 up, and even when i ride it hard i'm still 38mpg

Thats a pic of it as my avatar, you wouldn't look bad riding something like it. WAY better than a scooter.

I THINK I get about 60 mpg. I've never dried the tank, and I have to switch to reserve at about 180-190 miles.

I wouldn't recommend a 250, though- a little too slow. When the wind is blowing hard or going uphill (even an overpass), I can't get over 65 mph.

^you might to qualify that non-250 speel w/ the fact that you had a rebel 250, my ninja 250 took my fat over 100. so i'm sure it'd take you over 65 in ANY condition.

funny now 2 of my fellow inst. ride ninja 250's. both have 20+ yrs of riding expereience, and 1 weighs in at a conservative 325lbs.

and i might get one again as 1 of the inst. said his got 90+ mpg. i was thinkin 60-70

I get in the 60-70 range with my ex250. the funny thing is I have no problem riding the cbr 600 at 70 mph while I can't ride the ex250 slower then 75. I guess I am afraid of having someone hit me from the rear if I am not going faster then all the other traffic.

I use the ex250 for short rides college station Katy wiemer and around town.
