Best MPG Cruiser?

Whats the cruiser that gets the best mileage. Ive heard good things about the honda rebel.. but I just want to know from people who ride cruisers. I know these bikes arent built for speed and im looking into them to see what kind of mileage they can get?

Also, if you have a link to a website with MPG ratings or anything id we glad to look at that as well.

better yet, if you got a cruiser report in your MPG... im looking for something that gets 50+ mpg.. ive seen reports some of the small cruisers get that and then some, wondering what some of the 500cc+ get .. and if i can find one that gets 50 or around there, im going to seriously look into it.

my 750 shadow would get between 30-40.

i'd assume kawasaki eliminator would get the best mileage out of cruiser group but it can't really go on highways... Also if you're really looking for best mpg consider scooters. Some 250cc scooters can go fast enough yet be very economical.

My GF (RBLCHIC) has an 07 Rebel. The worst mileage we've calculated was 65mpg. I think it usually gets better than that.
Oh, we're looking to sell too. Clean only 3??? miles.

my bike gets 40 somethings.. but cruisers are comfy and can get bags without looking out of the nor lol plus they are slow, to keep me from romping on the throttle lol

I've got a Vespa ET 150 that does freeway speeds(72) while getting 68-70mpg. Huge under seat storage (no pets....sticker actually says that!) And I have the rear trunk. Put almost 2k on it last year and never missed a tick. Not as cool as a cruiser, but super economical and fun!! Try grabbing two handfuls of brake from 60+ and it stops in what feels like 30'.......like I said, fun!!

look into scooters a honda 250 reflex will hit hwy speeds and be in the 60+mpg range and have plenty of storage space.

I think that's part of the problem, he doesn't want to enjoy it. The more you enjoy, the worse economy.

honda shadow 600 has a very good fuel efficiency due to its light weight. you can easily cruise on the freeway on one and even carry some and extra change of clothes if you put saddle bags.
