Legal Question

I was trying to avoid posting this but so far I've had trouble finding my answer. So okay, here's the deal:

I'm on deferred in the county I live in for a PI charge I received back in December. I got deferred w/ 16 hours community service, $190 ticket, and an AA class. My deferred period is up on April 4th and the ticket will be dismissed and I've already done all the community service. Now here's the tricky part, I received a ticket on Thursday in Travis County for 78 in a 65. I went and spoke with the judge here this morning and she said if you get ANY ticket while on deferred it reopens the case and and I would get a guilty conviction. My arraignment for the Travis County ticket isn't until April 10th. So my question is, how can I juggle this so that the courts here where I'm on deferred won't find out about the ticket I got on Thursday?

Court date is April 10th

So it's already after the deferred ends, will they not see it until I go to court for it though? I was going to try to get it put on deferred over the phone with the prosecutor(done that before in a different county) but I think if I did that then the courts here would see it, unless I waited till April 5th...:dontknow:

Thanks. Now what if you got a ticket before you were ever on probation but the court date for that ticket was set for a day during your probation?

You are gonna be fine. Even if court was before any att. would tell you to say no when they ask if you were on def. adj. They will not even see it unless its a conviction.been there before. He said tell them no and I was a little worried cause it was same county. All went well.

That should have been something you disclosed to your lawyer prior so they could work with all your situations. It would most likely screw you over but, I am not a lawyer or claim to know all of the loops. Just the basics here.

when you signed the ticket they always te;ll you it's not that you accept that you were guilty, but to appear in court, then there you'll find out if you are guilty or not, so, it's after the deferred, so you good. but in any case, we can visit you at jail.
