One of the reasons i chose the KTM over some others.

On another topic since there are a few knowledgeable people in this SM thread, Do any of you know of any small HID lighting systems or quality driving lights(think PIAA) that draw 40Watts or less? My stator puts out very little free juice and i want to use it to my advantage until i can get a new flywheel and coil in this thing. . .

I'm really bummed about the XV motors. I won't repeat what the AF1 crew expresses about them. You think not ordering 08 models says something, you should hear what that say literally.

I don't know about the headlight stuff. I've seen a cyclops headlight that looked good. Ask Clayton, he doesn't run upper fairings so he would probable know something. There is a really popular kit out there but I can' think of the name. Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited had one of the set ups, i think it was on his monster.

I think i found some info and a source for the HID kit, now i just have to find someone who wants to split the cost(I only need 1/2 of the $180 kit). I'm sure Patrick and crew can pull me out of a bind if i can't install them myself.

Sorry if those only allows the junkies access to the page. . . http://supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=31595

from what I've seen, you are getting there. You might be cut out for motards. Wish I had mine for you to run on. Maybe when Larry gets his back you can take his out. Too bad there aren't any motard tracks around. I think Larry is going to try and get MSR-H to let him run on the cart track they are building. If I know Larry, he'll just run on after hours it until they say otherwise.

true that. i'm realy leaning towards just buying one.

headlight subject... streetfighterstore.uk has some really nifty low pull high output kits last time i checked. i am on the phoneand dont wanna search through it right now, but check it out. if not then grab a acerbis (whatever style u like) and just get some bulbs for it.
