We heard the same, some car cut across traffic. Never made contact with the bike though. He definitely tried to stop b/c the back tire locked up for about 40 ft, which is probably what caused him to go down.

Prob was me. I was shaking my head at the cars about to run into the end of the car in front of them because they were too busy trying to see what was going on.
