CMRA @ Cresson next weekend

Anyone here planning on going to Cresson Friday March 21 - Sat or Sun for the CMRA races?
I don't like to go race solo. I'm hoping to hook up with someone incase something wrong should happen.
I don't like going to trackdays or race days solo. Who knows if you need a ride back.

The ride back from OHR with a broken collar bone SUCKED!

Hit me up if you're planning on going

I'm going, I haven't squared away details yet with my father yet. He is recovering from a broken collar bone from OHR a few weeks ago. If we can squeeze you in I will let you know.

LOL
I too have a broken collar bone from OHR.
It was colder than a witches that day.
I broke mine on Friday so, I didn't even get to race my first of the season :/:

Let me know what happens.
And when you plan on returning. Are you running sprints on Sunday?
I'll either drive / split gas costs etc.../

Well, I will be in the Dallas area all weekend but I am only cornerworking on Friday. If someone needs help getting home I can probably help.

Edit: I will be coming back to Houston Sunday.

Swiftee,

Wade and I will be leaving Friday night after the track day. Jeff is not leaving until after Saturdays Big Bike Endurance.
I don't like him being up there by himslef. His hair gets lonely.

When are you wanting to go up and head home?

AWESOME
I'm going to judge the collar bone tomorrow at GSS.
If I think I can make a run, I'm going to sprint the mini on Saturday and return Saturday evening.
I'll know on Monday If I'm going to stay for next Saturday's Mini Sprints.
And I'd really like to keep Jeff's Hair company if I'm there.
Thanx MacMAn

Gabe... u sure that's enough track time??

Swift... you're more than welcome to ride back with me. It would be good for both of us not to go solo...... and my arms gets tired holding the mirror after a while.

Jeff,
We didn't get much time to talk yesterday.

New to the Forum. Was wondering about coming to the races to watch. i have never been there and was wondering what the facilities are like, acceptable for family and seating? Can someone give me the details. Might want to ride another day, but wanted to check it out first.

Yup, viewing is great at Cresson! You can see most of the track from just about anywhere, and there is a small grand stand in which to sit.

Traveling the paddock and speaking with racers and vendors can be a lot of fun too (if they're not scraping their knuckles trying to get a bike ready that is).

Come on out, there is a small gate fee, there is plenty to do, and fun for the whole family viewing the races!

CMRA racing are great events, and Cresson seems to be the best attended for spectators.

Which day would be the most entertaining to the family? I don't know enough to know which races are which. Kids are on Spring Break and wife and I are off rest of the week.
