Dang Tony that's not good. Sorry I missed you this morning, take your time. A minor injury can lead to much worse if you get on too soon. Talk to you next week.

Tony - Clyde told me about yur get off - sorry to hear it. That's got to be the fastest corner on the track going CW. Glad you're no worse than you are. I agree with Buck (did I say that?) you probably ought to not rush your return to the saddle till you're well healed. Heard the bike didn't do too well - what year is it? Hope you aren't too uncomfortable during the mending.

One word...SPECTACULAR!!!

say it we me...spek-tak-yuh-ler!!!

That was the most wicked, gnarliest, craziest, tumble fest I've ever seen, youtube ain't got on Tony... Through everything Tony still maintained his upbeat manner, Jimmy and I hung out with him after everyone had long gone, Tony looks at me...paused for a sec...and proceeds to tell me...I think the adrenaline is wearing off because this hurts...followed by a laugh...

Glad to see your up and typing Tony...

Heres to a quick recovery, let me know if you need anything.

Welcome to the club.

After eight months mine still hurts a little and I may have to have surgery. I think Mike has the right idea. Get it fixed quick.

and to doug, i was riding an 06' 1000rr...and yeah, it's in bad shape. not much of a bike left

here's where i crashed....everything happened in slow motion until i finally landed on the ground and tumbled til what seemed like forever. i think my ends here mark is off...but u get the idea.

Tony, you are a master at photo shop!

Glad to hear you have full range of motion and your injuries are less severe than mine.

Big bummer about the bike.

On a side note, I'm going to try and get Aprilia to buy my SXV back. AF1 thinks I have a fair chance at success. The bike has not one but two engine problems that caused my accident.

Back to Tony now.

i made a pass on the outside and i guess when i turned in (full lean with elbows almost draggin ). the pass was clean and made before the turn started really and i got the dusty part of the track, i gave it a little throttle to push me back in my race line....and since i'm accustomed to riding my 600rr, that lil bit of gas was too much on the 1000rr. i was on street tires with suspension not set up. the bike was sideways for a while before i realized it and said to myself "oh !", and i think at that point was when i got off the throttle a bit and it caught itself again and sent me flying!

moral of the story....if you can't feel what your bike is doing underneath you....it can spell disaster. properly setup suspension and proper air pressure plays a HUGE roll in going fast on the track. yesterday, i had neither, but that was my bad.

not to mention....yesterday was the first time EVER that i rode a bike to the track....and look what happened. never again.
