I wish it was that with us. I got one of those "revised" franchise contracts. the ones prior to 2005 are different and allows for a lot of things to be serviced in house. all changed when Mcdonalds got bad press during the last two quarters of 2005. made them change their policy. We even have to get all our stuff fixed (including taking care of the grease traps) from a list of 3 companies around the houston area. They are taking the grease and turning them into biodiesel and still charging us an assload.

Subway contracts are different because it is connected to a gas station and is considered a high traffic area by subway which allows us some discretion but it is still like the mcdonalds bs.

hahaha! they CHARGE you for your grease? , what a rip! they PAY us to take ours! its only like ten bucks every time they empty it, but hey, we're not paying. mcdonalds is ripping you off! but it seems youre doing pretty well regardless tho.

the profit margin of sonic is greater than micky Ds and subway. but profit overall is greater for mcdonalds. subways are just good for the resale factor of the gas station. I am looking into sonic as we speak. only thing worrying me are the training of employees and such.

ill go ahead and give you a heads up on that. sonic is a completely different animal than other fast food restaurants. ive worked at a whataburger, burgerking, taco cabana, wendys, and a mcdonalds. they were all pretty much the same kind of atmosphere to me. but once you get the ball rolling, the over head is lower and profits are greater if you consider location, and IMO its much easier to run and coordinate employees and management. micky d's has better name recognition and waaaaaaaaay better advertisement gimmicks than sonic does, which is why they have higher profits overall. a buddy of mine that runs the galveston seawall location is only 23 and makes about 140k a year, and he isnt even an owner. just a GM. but ive never been happier in any other job than where im at now. i gave up a job working for DOW in fiber optics to come back to sonic.

Well I just finished a little bit of cleaning. I took out the dishwasher and vacuumed underneath it. Then I moved the refrigerator and vacuumed underneath it and then bleached the floor where the refrigerator was. After that I moved the stove and vacuumed underneath it and bleached the floor where it sat. After I did all that I cleaned out from underneath the sink and bleached in there. Hopefully that will help control those little pests until I pour the bleach down the drains. Do you think any of this helped?

dump ice in the disposal and turn it on. It will clean and sharpen the blades and can't hurt.

perfect answer.
1. I had the same problem, one problem was the drain, I poured bleach down the drain and also use the caps now when not in use. (glass candle lids sit perfectly and look decent)
2. I also treated the plants and indoor trees, seems the little bastards had gotten into laying eggs in the soil. A quick spray with the appropriate from Lowes garden section and wallah, flies no mas', its been over a year or two and no more problems, even in the drains.

So I just bleached the countertops with a load of bleach and bleached the floor and everything in the kitchen(appliances), next is the bathroom and I am also going to put more bleach down the drain, and if this doesn't work I have plenty more bleach

make sure you take out ALL plants and anything with dirt. if you have sitting water make sure you throw it out or take it outside if you have leave it sitting. if it gets too annoying and nothing seems to work... bomb the suckers! Raid Max Concentrated DEEP REACH Fogger works great! our battle was sugar ants, and wasps..
