And how would that help in a situation like this? The key phrase here is hit and run.

Alright an update. As of today. Our witness is in Germany and we are waiting for him to get back. My investigator interrogated the driver. She admits to driving the car that night. She admits to making the illegal left turn. She admits to fixing her left turn signal and headlight the following week. She admits to pulling over and getting out of her car and checking out her damage and getting back in her car and driving off. BUT she says she did not hit anyone and hit "road debris" in the intersection. (WTF!) I plan on pressing criminal charges this week. Also my civil case is looking strong. Just have to wait until the criminal case is farther along so that we don't scare her with a lawsuit. So far she has not lawyered up and we don't want her to. So it is slow going because we don't want to spook her. I just got my motorcycle back on Friday from Patrick. He did an awesome job. I'm still on disability and will be back to work within the next week or so once i get a release from my doctor.

Keep us updated. You handled everything better than I would have.
I would've been at her front door step the next day, with some cops asking WTF!

Goodness... skipping the country? wow...

I been called several things, but 'road debre' had never been one of them...

Take it easy when you do go back to work; make sure you get the healing now vs permanent problems later

I pay for very good coverage. So I havent had to pay for my bike to be fixed. I have had to pay for all my medical bills tho. But after the lawsuit it will all be taken care of.
