check the local body shops for front end damange, and blue paint marks. you know about were the damage was located and prob the color of the car.. might not remember the make or model, but car color and location of the damage is known. and i doubt hes going to ride around with a busted car, hes going to fix it ASAP to hide the damage.

WOW...!!!! Glad you are OK...!!!! I avoid riding in Westheimer due to all the idiots cutting you off and running the red lights....!!! I'm also in Katy and if need to go home from the Galleria area (PP1) late night I always use the Westpark tollway, is more safer.

Get well soon. I wish you a fast recovery...!!!!

Justine, I just read this, and am so sorry to hear what happened. I can't believe nobody got the plates off the ! Did they at least get some sort of ID on the car? Maybe they have cams at that intersection?

I'm sure they were more concerned about your well-being, but man that sucks that nobody got plates!

Hope you heal up fast!

I am in no way a cop hater like it seems alot of people are. I was a police explorer in high school and its on my dream job list. I defend cops for the most part, but I believe that there for sure a few bad apples out there and unfortunately I think the leo that worked my scene is a bad apple. :/: He will not return any phone calls or anything. Plus there were some things he did at the scene for the little amount of time that I was there that just didnt seem right. At the time i questioned why he was letting a main witness walk away while not getting her information but I was in extreme pain and the paramedics had just shown up so I let it go, unfortunately. I thought this was a hit and run and my dad has been doing research talking to tons of people at the intersection today. The people at the restaurant say that the car stopped and it was a woman driver and that her car had some good damage to it. All we want to get from the officer is if the car really did stop and if he got her info so that we can stop searching... argh... anyways just venting i guess...

I miss my bike already. It was a beautiful day outside and all i did was lay in bed with my leg propped up on pillows.

Forgive me if I'm being slow. But you got the offending party's plates and a good witness? To me, that sound like a slam dunk. Good luck with that, and I let us know what happens next.

yeah its pretty much a slam dunk. Just gotta dot all the I's and cross all the T's and make sure nothing slips. Because its not done until its done, dont want to get too relaxed and slip up and lose the case. but yeah its looking good
