Good places to ride

Most of my life has been spent in Pasadena and although I've never really thought about it before, I've never noticed any roads I thought would be really fun or relaxing to ride down, does anyone know any? Not just Pasadena, all around Houston, I'd love to check some of them out over spring break.

Crabb River rd. Watch for cops...been bad lately.
Otherwise all the other good roads I been on are up on the north side, but I dont know any of their names, except the forrest and racer road.
