haha no. i'm looking to start by either buying a decent salvage title bike and turn it into a track bike. or find a track bike in general. but it's the wrong time of year to buy a completed track bike so i'm looking for a project worse case.

Sams Cycle Salvage, probably one of the best places in town for used parts.
If they don't have it, they can usually get it for you.
Sam's son Chris posts on here as Romeo36 and is also the CMRA #1 plate holder this season.

Well the situation is this. i have 2500-3000 i'm looking for spend. I know it's not a lot but it's going to be a project, yet track day bike for now. i want to get into racing but not jump in feet first without a little more track experience. I've done about 5 track days and i'm pretty good. I'm looking for something fuel injected, not a total heap and something i can build kinda piece by piece. meaning race parts. Thanks again for any help and i'm probably going to the shop today. thanks again

btw your pm box is full lol

Wonder if the SV forks interchange with the Bandit? I'm taking mine off and they have the Gold valves and all the goodies in them.

Well, the SV looks like 41mm tubes, B12 has 43mm. Guess you would have to swap out the triples, but still might be a cost effective upgrade versus rebuilding the SV forks.

Also can upgrade to GSXR or Busa USD forks, but some race assoc. don't allow that.

The thing to do with the sv is to take a set of f3 fork tubes and valving and put them in the sv lower fork tubes. Putting the gsxr forks on it changes the geometry of the bike a load because of the offset on the trees

physically an SV is the same size, just not the same peak HP.
