actually we take $50 bucks worth of lake minnows, yes common lake minnows(freshwater) minnows. keep em live.

chum a little throw in half of the live minnows(they are shinny) mark point on gps....wait 15 min or 2 beers chugged. run threw gps location at 20 knt w/ lures rigged with 2-3lb drials to keep em under the surface 15 ft.(big fish)

or troll slower w/ live blue runners (land smaller fish) and in pinch ribbon fish.

seems like a waste to throw out lts of live minnows in the water but it work evey time.

and if you start reeling in half snappers its cuda rigs now that a fight

I love that area! It used to be my favorite place to camp. I can handle squatters for ya, but the possums. . .they can be skeery.

I looove to fish. But I'm kind of a noob. And I have luck with it. out of all the times I've gone I've caught one fish...we conventionally anyways. I have, however, caught several through the eye, stomach, or back, out of random luck. So it's more like I just murder them with a hook.
