Out of gas on 249.

I ran out of gas this morning on 249. Apparently there wasn't enough weight in the reserve to turn the bike over, so I had to wait for a friend to show up with a gas can. While I was out there 4 bikes stopped to make sure everything was okay. I didn't get names but I wanted to thank the guys that stopped. I really appreciated it. All is good now.

Thanks again.

I just installed a speedohealer a few weeks ago. So I hit the reserve at 100-105 instead of 130-145. I got in the left lane to pass someone and started to stall, but had a car right behind me. So instead of hitting the reserve while riding, I pulled over so I didn't get hit. Once I did I guess there wasn't enough in the reserve to turn the engine over.

I do...lack of paying attention, short on funds, thinking you can make the extra 2 miles, etc. I've run out of gas at least 3 or 4 times in my 9 years oof riding. We're not all perfect

That too. I was literally 3 miles from work and figured I would make it. I was wrong.
