Horrible Week for the Pets

So, my son and I got home tonight to one of our dogs laying in the middle of the floor soaking wet and bleeding everywhere. One of my other dogs (also covered in blood) had obviously attacked and very nearly killed him. I immediately called my Weenie and he calmed me down- I don't remember if I called Meaner or if she called me, but she came right over and drove us to the Emergency Vet. The dog had to be put to sleep- punctured lung + internal injuries. It was very devastating. I'm going to take the other dog to the pound tomorrow. Very sad.

This is just two days after my mom's Yorkie was killed by another dog in her front yard, right in front of her eyes. Very sad week indeed.

The one who died was a Parsons (smooth) Jack Russel Terrier, the one who killed him is a Weimeraner/lab mix. The destroyed my office - papers and blood everywhere, then pushed around my 65" HDtv in the living room. It was horrible to come home to.

There is no explanation. :/: They only eat twice a day, it's never left out for them. They fought in three rooms of my house. I can't even begin to imagine why. My other dog just snapped. She has shown signs of aggression in the past towards the cats and some people, but this is the first time she's ever done anything like this. I've had her since the Hurricane- she was a refugee.

She is most of the time. Lately we've noticed her getting more aggressive, though, but nothing like this. We are in shock. We've lost three dogs this week.
