It was the very last sesson for L4 . I was climbing the hill heading to T8 at about 110mph chasing Derek and Irish. Been doing it all day so no problem right. Well I haven't bled my brakes in 5-6 track days and got alot of brake fade entering T8 and didn't think I was going to make the turn so I made BIG,BIG,BIG stupid mistake!!!

I stood it up and tried to ride it out....YEA! RIGHT! ...Anyway I did a dirt highside and demolished the front end....by the way PITECK plastic explode in a crash....cheap a$$ ....but lesson learned for me and as I tell our riders at LMS...when in doubt lean more

yeah. I was riding with slo rdr for a couple laps because he wanted to see my lines and for me to tell him what I see from riding behind him. Great to have feedback from friends ya know. Anyway I decided to pick my pace back up on the lap you saw me. I hit that bump in the straight at around 150mph or so and it jared my lap timer bracket loose which in turn hit my ignition key turning off my bike. Man I thought it blew up with the loud boom after bouncing off the rev limiter. Then I relized what happened after sitting at the end of hot pit. I relocated my timer to my other fork now. Luckly the track was scarce at that time. Got in another lap and then the session was over. Man that seemed like a short session to. Not 20 min especially after having to wait so long to go out.

Yea I remember when you told me - I was like Wha?

I was your lead instructor in level 2, and also your group instructor. You did well out there for a level 2 guy, your lines were also tight for a GSXR 1000.

See you out there again!

Does anybody know who the instructor was on the blacked-out RC51 with the red wings? He sent me a PM, but it got deleted somehow.

ahh Mo, cool thanks for the feedback. It's funny the more I do this the easier it gets without trying. Getting more relaxed I guess. That was only my 5th trackday so I still got more to work on. You were defiantly one of the better instructors I've had at Ridesmart though. You know it's always cool when the instructor looks back at you and gives you a thumbs up. Thanks for your help. Hopefully one day I'll be fast enough for level 4 group.
See Ya next time.

Had a blast out there this weekend, although 2 of my buddies went down in the horsehoe in level 4. I just cruised it around all day. Still didn't have my confidence back from my Labor Day get off in turn 11. So I just ran my own pace out there. Hopefully I didn't get in anyones way.

I caught a little of your crash on video. But I stopped the camera too soon. Actually, I thought it was my friend on MY green bike that just went down and I kinda forgot all about video taping. He was riding the green bike that you passed entering T4 just a few seconds before your went down in T8 - 9. My friend was riding my Kawi while Chris was riding my friend's Ducati. When I get a chance I will see if I can figure out how to post it up.
