two reasons

to not drink and ride...

coming home from walmart around two this morning , i came up on a bike on the bridge. i figured it was a flat or out of gas but when i started rolling over motorcycle parts i knew someone went down , so i stopped to help . the guy on the busa had a few drinks and was headed to another bar. not even a mile away from the bar he decided to ride a wheelie and looped it around 80 or so , the bike behind him actually ran over his legs ... so we put the bike in truck and headed to the hospital , but he didnt know any of us and didnt want to leave his bike with people he didnt know. i tried to reason but he didnt wanna go , so we took the bike to his house . when he sat in his roommates car he couldnt take it so they laid him down, then he started flipping out screaming that hes dying and so his roommate called 911 to take him.

his name is john , 45 and he lives in humble if anyone knows him ...
i think his gonna be okay just broken ribs and collar bone. he had on a jacket and helmet (oh can vouch for a scorpion helmet cause he defiantly coasted on his face for a bit).

two reasons

so after thats all over with , i never thought about how gay it was the other two guys were riding 2up , turns out one of them decided to jump a speed bump while leaving the first bar and dumped his bike and busted his stator cover.

two reasons

ive never drank rode and dont drink drive , but what i didnt learn tonight was i can fit a fit a sport bike in my four door tacoma no problem as long as theres two other guys to pick it up ... " im weak "

oh and lastly i dont know those guys and they didnt know each other , i was helping out fellow riders as i would hope they would help me out ...

I have mixed feelings but at least you did stop to help, that late at night how many other ppl would have stopped? You seem to have had the best intentions and props to you for helping... even though the circumstances of the wrecks were fkn stupid. IMO it is just one of the dumbest things to do... drink and drive.

they were not convicted yet or even proven to be intoxicated so they were not felons. stupid yes but not felons. If you think about it what if someone had not have stopped and helped and someone was with a child in their car and swerved to miss them and wrecked. what would have been worse to do help or not?

that's lame. i went riding one night and my former buddy steven was with me and a few others. He had more than a few drinks and was riding in the lane with me and doing wheelies and ricer flyby's. A few drinks and some people think they are invincible! I never rode with him or let any of my friends ride with him after that night. Luckily he sold his bike before he could kill himself.

Like you wouldn't stop to help someone ?? regardless of how smart or dumb he was for drinking & riding he still is busted up & will be in pain & think about what he did . So if your dumbazz went into a cruve to fast & a deer ran out & caused you to wreck should i call the cops b/c you were speeding & something went wrong ? or would you like some help ?

just my .02 !!

b/c they are the same kind of dumbasses that drive drunk and end up killing innocent people! Nothing wrong with stopping to help but I would have called the popo as soon as I saw it was a crash scene.

edit: i take it back. I wouldn't have called popo right away but I for sure wouldn't help clean up some drunk's mess and would definitely call once I realized he/they were intoxicated

Biker or not it's still a living person at this point . Thankful he didn't hurt or kill anyone else. only his own dumbazz .....

I'm not agreeing with choice he made to drink & ride !!

But regardlees on MY own actions & chioces ,if i were to be i need of help i would hope that someone was willing to help me get the help i needed IF they were willing to help me in my time of need .......

Pleaaase don't ever be around me ......you are bad KARMA !!

better yet while they are lying in the road ......maybe you could comfert them by asking if they have take MSF ? if they say no tell them to call you if they want to ride again !!

And you wonder why so many people do not like you !! like this !!

again this is MY .02 ......

bad karma is driving around drunk, and helping them carry on as if they did nothing wrong, whose to say next time in a car they don't kill somebody.

maybe if they went to jail this time they wouldn;t do it again in the future, but now all you;ve done is helped them get away w/ a crime.

GO YOU!
