2006 Suzuki Hayabusa - STOLEN!!!!

I have full coverage, am over 25 and it is still a 1000 dollar deductible through progressive. I admit it is idiotic that I didn't keep it in my apartment. I have to double check to see if I purchased GAP insurance. Kind of still in shock with the whole thing. I will be making some calls in the morning. In regards to taking it like a man... I think I am but has your bike ever been stolen?

$11k bike + no garage + no theft insurance = IDIOT! Sorry but that's what it is, take it like a man!

And guess what people, lojack can be removed off of several bikes a lot easier than u think. BUY PHUCKING INSURANCE, ESPECIALLY IF UR BIKE IS NOT SECURE.

** edit ** I see ur new post u have the insurance, but YOU FORGOT THE GAP INSURANCE, so my post still stands!!!!!!

I guess what im getting at is if you live in a apartment, park it inside or pay the extra for the garage and its abviously best to have full coverage and gap insurance.

I guess i should have been more clear. People who buy bikes and leave them in the apartment parking lot without insurance are asking to get hurt.

I understand he has insurance so hes lucky. Even without gap, insurance will cover most of it. Im just speaking about majority of people that buy bikes and leave them outside all night and day with no protection knowing how easy they are to get stolen. Kind of serves them right even though it sucks. You would think people would be decent enough to respect the property of others and be honest human beings that would work for what they want. Unfortunately, there is a good bit of scum on this earth.

It was in a covered spot that I paid for and a garage was not available. I still should have parked it inside my apartment I agree.

Im not so much grilling you man, just speaking in general. Sorry to see you lost your bike though bro. Its sucks no matter what! Noone deserves to get the things they work hard for stolen from them even if it was parked out in the open.

Ill keep an eye out man. I hope you find it but chances are slim which we all know...

i am always amazed at no matter what happens to somebody there is always somebody else that has to put him down.

Hopefully your lease doesn't state that you can't park in your apartment. I keep both of my bikes in my parents garage due to my lease stating I can't park anywhere other than my designated spot. Not near, by, on my patio, or even in my townhouse. Sorry to hear about this, and I understand that sometimes there aren't any other options.

I was actually looking for a townhome or apartment early last year. One of the stipulations was did they have garages or was there a storage place within a short distance.
I would rent one of those and park my bike there if needed.

Sorry to hear about your bike, and I will keep an eye open for it in Katy. I didn't know about GAP insurance either but I will look into now.

I saw a Cranberry 'Busa heading south on 529 yesterday afternoon when me and some guys went to lunch. We all saw it.
It had a silver jin (or whatever) on the side.

Sorry for your loss...
