Not me... I like to park it in the turns, wait 'till the bike is perfectly upright, then hammer it down the straights until I hit the limiter in 6th gear. I don't think my bike would turn, even if I tried

lol. I meant i kept up without crippling the group ride that had 600-1000cc bikes. They were keeping a good pace, but not a over 100 mph pace. I kept up with them decently, and I'm still learning tons. They were considerate, don't get me wrong.. they had wide sweepers (houston seems to have trouble producing tight twisties!).

So don't get me wrong, i'm not claiming to have kept up with 1000cc's racing! Just on a good paced group ride, I wasn't a cripple dragging the group down miserably. Several times when they really hit it it took me a it to catch up. But it wasn't anything miserable.

i rode 140 miles a couple of weekends ago and hand tingle was my biggest issue, I am going to get some gel grips to correct or at least help with this problem. Occational stops help as well, stretch your legs, get a drink or something to eat and then continue.

I agree. The hand tingle can be terrible on the highway after a while. I love the ninja but for a 6-3 frame, its not as much fun for long trips on the highway.

Right now, my favorite area is heading towards Navasota etc, and I've done 200 mile rides before, but I think it would be MUCH more comfortable with a little more cc under the belt. Instead of cruising at 7-8k on the freeway, drop it in half with a larger bike. I think it would make longer trips easier and less of a strain. Bike can handle it, but 100 miles of the throttle over 50-60% open gets tiring!

hope you enjoyed your ride, i need to get out and have a good one myself!

Lol. I think they've thought about the EX500 motor in it, but the costs is almost prohibitive or impossible.

non running sv650 :(

a 10r motor in the 250 chasis would make that thing blow up instantly

the gauges wouldn't even know how to react when u hit the throttle
