Talking FTAO Geezer: chunky monkeys 'limey' stylee

Ingredients:
200g (7oz) plain flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
125g (4oz) caster sugar
125g (4oz) butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
150g (5oz) white chocolate
75g (3oz) glace' cherries


Oven 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F / gas mark 4

Put flower, bicarb and sugar in bowl and mix together

Cut butter into pieces and add.

Mix until like fine crumbs

Beat together egg and milk in cup.
chop up choca and cherries (add some dried apricot as well when no one is looking )
add all to mix and mix together.

Grease baking sheets/paper
drop heaped tablespoon mix well spaced apart on the paper.

Bake in oven for 8-12 minutes until lightly browned,
leave for 2 mins to harden.
transfer to cooling rack.

Allow to cool if you can, then eat but have a straight jacket ready cause once one is eaten, the rest will NEED to follow .
Undo belt and trousers, have a snooze
wake up and start again
