I think it's awesome to see Toseland being competitive right outta the gate. I've always been a fan. In WSB, he was always very personable... gracious to his competitors, etc.

Man... just think if he had a little more motor underneath him. He was holding his own in the corners and losing it all on the big straight. Toseland seems like the kind of guy who has taken Rossi's comments about him not "being ready" for MotoGP and used it as fuel to push himself even harder.

Rossi is the best of the best indeed, but if you think about it, he has never REALLY been in this (possible) position... having to fight with MULTIPLE riders for the race win.

Oh yeah.... yall catch that pass Toseland made where he BASHED Lorenzo's bike when coming into that right-hander on the first or second lap?! Shyte.... I'm sure Toseland didn't mean for it to be THAT dramatic, but .... I'm surprised Lorenzo didn't get all squirly and at least go off-line. Granted, it's ONLY one race... but the rookies have come out swingin' and I'm diggin' it.

I hear ya on Melandri. Ever since he had shoulder surgery he hasn't been his old self. Yeah, it's a new team and bike, but the same tires and we know the bike is competitive.... and he's Italian.... on a Ducati. C'mon dawg!!! Wut up!?!?

man, we must read the same book
couldn't agree more
Yea, JT let him 'ave it accidental or not,
I was impressed with Lorenzo's composure after that,
that was one rude awakening from the WSB champion.
Did you see JT on the startline getting his race face on scary stuff

JT replace Rossi WTF??? I should be the one replacing The Doctor!

Which ever direction the season goes... its great to see the new talent proving themselves so fast. I can't wait to see Spies in the mix.

I can't think of a more deserving individual. Dani-bot just seems like such a jackass!

those Spaniards take their racing very very seriously indeed
national pride at stake and all that,
Dani won't like being upstaged by a rookie, not one little bit.
There's a civil war brewing it seems
