I think Rossi was held back by equipment too though. Rossi is a much better racer than Dani P, Toseland, and certainly Lorenzo. Those guys just happened to have the right equipment and the right set up for the day I think.

Not to speak lowly of the rookies, but Rossi is better with more experience and natural ability too IMHO.

Besides, it's the first race of the season, and with that first showing, I'm sure Tech Three will be spending a lot of cabbage on King James' and Edwards' bikes.

Rossi be replaced by Toseland?

Yea, and I should replace Ty Howard now... I too ran with the front pack in the first season opener of TMGP... 3rd place :P!

You gotta be kidding me dude!

Toseland is still pretty far....

let's not downsize rossi, he's one of the greatest, and still has the skills to back it up. he'll get back up front soon enough. Toseland will remain in the top of the midpack, but I don't see him coming up with the front runners.

we'll probably be seeing the same front runners throughout the season....stoner, pedrosa, lorenzo, rossi, and dovizioso

sorry to say, but i think hayden's done. and hopper made a bad choice switching to kawi.

I think Cappo had great results on the Duc. Checa was not riding the same duc they are on today. The bike is just better now. Giber, well Rossi just ruined him for life. He should have retired after that last season on the Telefonica machine.
Melandri...well I just don't know, I figured him to be a better rider than he is showing. His bike was the fastest in a straight line, he just has not figured the bike out yet. I'm sure he will, and then you can add him to the front pack for sure.
