I enjoy the comraderie of the group, but there is nothing like getting away from it all on my back all alone.

You just have the wrong idea about riding. It's not always a social outlet- it is a stress relief and its calming and relaxing... and so much more.

The flip side of that is having someone with you in case of the unexpected .
But true to the riding alone to relieve the stress of life.

i enjoy riding with a buddy of mine, but any more than 2 bikes and it becomes stressful if not riding at a very relaxed cruising pace. i like riding w/ my buddy b/c i've ridden with him enough that i feel like we know eachother's riding style enough to be predictible.

man, there are some nice roads out off 359 that i love to ride by myself though.

my main reason for riding with other people is to find new roads

Me too. I ride by myself all the time. You are free to do and go whereever you want. Plus it just clears your head so much.

I too get bored riding alone. I like to have at least one other bike with me but i really perfer a group of 4 or more. 10+ riders can get stupid though unless you riding with a mature group of people that know how to ride in a group that size. There is always that one idiot no matter what in a group that size it seems though. lol
