929RR OWNERS!!!! quick question

have you converted to GP shift? which method?

I did a lil research and came across a few things sayin to use VFR800 shift parts.

just wondering if anybody has done it and pics if possible. i've volunteered Buddha429's 929rr as one of my race bikes, but I will not race it if I cannot get it into GP shift. I probably won't even ride it actually.....switching back and forth from GP shift to standard shift is too confusing.

Thanks

VFR800 levers work according to my online research that I've done. I haven't done it yet, but I plan on doing it.

You use the shifter from a VFR800. Here are the Honda part #'s:

Part Number: 24701-MAT-000
Description: PEDAL, GEARSHIF

Part Number: 24781-KR3-770
Description: RUBBER, CHANGE

Part Number: 90051-KS7-830
Description: BOLT,

I did this on my 954RR. It should work for the 929RR also.
Parts were ordered from Ron Ayers. It cost about $50 incl. shipping.
It was really easy to install on my bike. Remove the stock parts and simply bolt on.
