"At this point he had some serious neckvein going, but I couldn't stop myself. I was overwhelmed by the absurdity of it all. Here was a 75k dollar bike on the cheapest trailer money could buy being pulled by a Lexus SUV with damage all down the side. I just kept busting his chops till he got into his SUV and drove away."

ROFFLES !

Screw that I would not have sat there talking smack I would have been there trying to convince him the bike is worthless now and tell him how me buying it from him for 30K was the best idea.

until you consider that the fairings are hand-laid dry carbon fiber and the shifter/rearsets are forged magnesium.

now that you said that, then the price increase is understandable.

according to the thread, the owner is a long time ducati buyer, a very fast track rider and extremely successful architect. he was with a client the day the bike was delievered so he asked his brother to pick it up for him. while riding it to the guys office he laid it down after applying too much throttle. and now everyone with a keyboard feels entitled to to demonstate how stupid this guy is for letting someone else ride it.
