where did you go, just interstate or back roads. I guess if your just going for the record then interstate is best.

Nice bike there bud...
I got you beat though...on the way to Deals Gap, I did 996 miles in just 10hrs 36mins. I slept a couple of hours, then rode the Gap and other areas and then came back home. All told, 2500 miles in less than 2 days.

no tickets, WTF, that has to be an average of over 100mph when you factors gas stops and such.

Sounds like he drove out there to pick the bike up and then drove home with the bike in tow...

No one can do that mileage on a motard in that short of time... the windblast alone would be deadly!

Yes it was and I did get stopped in the rain on the way back in LA.

I actually went much faster most of the time. I was going throgh a tank of gas every 45 minutes or so. I logged the entire trip on my GPS. But I was doing the riding at night through remote regions. I got the ticket on I-10 though.

http://www.mapquest.com/mq/6-Kbcr from Waco Texas to Ottumwa Iowa only stopping for food and gas until we got to ottumwa then stopped for 1 hour to pick up a family friends kids from his ex-wife then back to Waco then did the trip again 2 weeks later. the first trip we left at 9 pm on a Friday got back Saturday night at 3. we even ran into some rain storms in Kansas city that flooded 35 so bad water was being forced into the driver side floor board. i don't remember how long it took the second time but it was alot quicker.
