Man that sucks, speed messed up the title of the race, had some other BS program listed in the program guide, so my DVR didnt record it (set up to record all motorcycle races). Hopefully it will re-run on Tuesday and I can catch it then...

FYI Bridgestone gave Rossi a tire that would go the distance, in fact it won the race. They missed the set-up. Simple as that. Bridgestone has made it widly known that they give everyone the same material. It is actually easier in the long run to get used to the tire and perfect your set-up. Now they make track specific tires, as in, a Losail tire may be different than a Laguna tire. Rossi even said so in Yamaha's post race press release. He said that he had the right tires, he just didn't quite nail the set-up. Rossi WILL get it right and when they do...LOOK OUT. He is already closer than he was last year.

man that was a crazy race, stoner was trying hard to pass on power out of the coners, but his tires werent their and he was just shaking trying to pass coming out of the turns, but he soon figuared it out....

drive in hard into the coner and grab alot of brake and pass em that way. plus that duc had some serious power down the straight were he would pick up alot of ground as well. once he got out front it was all over!

and then that rossi battle was crazy they passed each other like 2-3 times back to back haha

Thanks for the clarification.
I did read the same but you know how it is John,
I'm never going to blame Rossi, always somebody/something else
how good did he look though in the first half of that race

I missed it, sadly, and I was all excited to see it. Who took the win?

Great race, the "new blood" is making a big impact right from the start!!

Honda must have their collective heads up thier ..Start of the year and they still don't know which bike to field......I'll leave it at that....

I think as the "regulars" get their machines developed further, the usual suspects will be up front, but at this level there will always be a couple running out front and the rest trailing behind. I read about people complaining about the "Stoner show" last year. Why? He rode strong in every race and still did not win every race, but finished good. Everyone says Michelin this and Bridgestone that, this tire is dominant. Rossi made a mistake with Bridgestone. bla bla bla The fact is Michelin sucked last year and Rossi lost his confidence in the tire. Racing is 99% mental, and the confidence that Rossi has in Bridgestone is evident & it will work out in the end. Michelin has certainly improved so as it seems. So the competition will be closer, but in the end there will still be 3-4 bikes out front and there probably will be a representation of each tire brand up there. What do you guys expect, 15 bikes fighting for first?
