Re: WILL THIS BE SAFE DURING RITA???

unless it's a piece of building you should be fine. the only thing people are worried about where i'm at is the windows being blown out.

Re: WILL THIS BE SAFE DURING RITA???

the building is about a hundred years old...

so basically it survived Alesha... and Carla 1961....

are you downtown?

Re: WILL THIS BE SAFE DURING RITA???

In the news they where saying that the higher the building the harder the wind hits it
Also said something about* every 30 feet up feels like 20m/h more,* so if hurracaine is 120m/h then 30 feet up will be 140m/h at least that is what I think I heard...
:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:
the advice was get to a lower floor or evacuate* :eh:

Re: WILL THIS BE SAFE DURING RITA???

Good luck Trey...!!! right: right: right: right:

Before moving to the 'burbs, we used to live at Houston House Apartments

HoustonHouse 001

21st. floor, we live there while Tropical Sorm Allison flooded Houston, If the winds are very strong just move to the lower floors and you will be safe.
