So how much quicker is a MotoGP bike on prototype tyres.

In this weeks British press an interview with James Toseland gives an insight into the incredible speed of the 800cc MotoGP bike.
JT is the reining World Superbike Champion won last year on the HANNspree Ten Kate Honda Fireblade, arguably the fastest Honda superbike in the world !

His superpole lap at Qatar last year on the superbike was in the xxxxxxx
In finishing second fastest in last weekends MotoGP night test on the Yamaha M1, he clocked a FL of xxxxxxxx

Don't look it up,
How much quicker did he go ??????????????
have a guess especially you racers and trackdayers who are chasing times.

I saw a youtube of Colin Edwards running his M1 on Michelin PP2CTs. I think he only ran like 8seconds off pace.

Its just a video of Colin at a press conference for the Mich PP2CTs. He talks about being asked to run them around the track, and that he was very surprised when they told him it would be aboard his M1. Then theres a couple minutes of him running the track. He smokes them 2CTs up out of almost every exit.

What, you think I speak with forked tongue
WSB time, 1.58's
MotoGP, 1.54.592
His words in the article, "So to go 4 seconds quicker than I went in the superpole lap"
I got it here right in front of me, under the doughnuts
