I'll admit i'm literally insane.... and a bit soggy in the brain

I rode in the rain again last night on my commute home @ 5pm. In case any of you weren't paying attention, it was pouring.

I found out that the waterproof paints i bought weren't waterproof, more like drizzle proof, and that i should always bring my frogg togg pants as well when rain comes! I had water gathering in my boots even with the rain boot covers... It was WET!

Any other experince the insanity?

i think frogg toggs are great if your bike is fully faired but otherwise you'll get wet in the end.

I rode yesterday in the hardest of the rain. Didnt have a choice, all I gots is my bike. Patrick hooked me up with an A* rainsuit. Its a two-piece and works great. Only thing that got wet was my gloves(and they're textile, so no worries). Rode in the snow this morning too. Im not insane though, just a working stiff.

Get a Foggy Respor Mask. Not the most comfortable.. i perfer straight helmet, but for the results REALLY GOOD. In the rain i had a little fogging, probably due to incorrect insertion, but otherwise the whole week, visor closed, not a crack and no problems... Ninja650.com, if you can join, i think they are doing group buy for $20, so save a few dollars. Cycle gear has them sometimes. call ahead and check... ITS A LIFESAVER
