Money in Paint?

Someone at my school rides an older CBR 600 and has a 50 dollar bill under the clearcoat on his tank on his bike. Is this something common, I've never seen it before today and found it very strange :/: I'll try to get a picture of it next time I park next to him on campus.

Edit: Found it on CL:

http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/586597791.html

It doesn't show the bill, but that's the bike.

just a sign of showing off....big deal...just as gay as putting " of steel" on the hitch of your stock Z71 or two sided taped hood scoops on your 4 banger S10....

FWIW-a $50 dollar bill these days makes you a baller

this dude ive known for a long time...he got this paint job:

it called burning bens. basicly black backround, and on top of that, $100 bills all torn and on fire. this was a $2500paint job. all the bills done by hand in great detail. he got this painted on his zx-10. funniest part, on the side of the tank, the bill there, instead of ben franklins mug he got his own face on there.

the is hilarious. he may not ever be able to sell it, but he is definatly blingin, lol.

Dang, you really have a woody for guys with bull hanging on their trucks and the hood scoops. Let it go already, everything will be OK dbuck. You city punks wouldn't understand. I think the are cool, but haven't and have no plan of getting any. And by the way, chances are the Z71 isn't stock, we all have exhausts on them.

i've painted quite a few like that. some use dollar bills, some use 100 bills. gotta be a nice crispy bill, or it won't look halfway decent.

I was going to do my bike covered in $100 bills with you, but now I am going to have to go over all the bills with a color changing marker to make sure they are not copies. Since, I am too lazy to do that I guess I just won't do it anymore.

Stick on vents, gotta love them... Ive seen a car that had the sht go all the way onto the door, like the more vents he added the better the car would look...
