Tomorrow is going to be a busy day! I'm going to have to take off from work early!

I have mulch being dropped off. A friend is dropping a bike off (to hide it from his wife). I need to get ready for Saturday. Now I have a dog to find the owner for...

My friends wife works at dickinson vet and it's right around the corner. I'll bring him there tomorrow for a scan.

I got two names from a reverse number look up, no answer. I search those names and got one more number for one name, disconnected. The other name gave me two pages of results.

I'll call this number again tomorrow and stop by the vet.

Good night everyone.

I'm a foster for CAPS. if need be I'll take him in for you, and make his donation. I have fostered a few, it's great. I found my last foster-to-own last year. tried to foster him and give hime to good homes several times, but it didn't take. I really wanted to keep him, but had a hard time justifying it.
I try not to give dad's little man special treatment, but my girl says I clearly do.

Thanks for the offer to foster him. I'm still calling the number on the collar about once an hour, no answer, no voicemail/answering machine.
After work I'll find a place to get him scanned for a chip.
If that doesn't work I'll have to find a new home for him asap.
He is insanely low key. I brought him to work today and he is just sleeping in my office. I couldn't leave him at home, my cats wouldn't leave the bedroom even though he could aparently care less about them.

His name is Fozzy or something. I just talked to the owner. He works in Galveston also and lives near me. They have a doggy door but he dug a hole under the fence and got out.

Two little boys were missing their dog last night :(

That explains why on our walk last night he kept going over and walking along fences.

I'm glad you were persistant. Now you get to be the hero for a couple of kids... That's the best kind of story ~ one that ends well.

that was very cool of you to feed him and keep him warm while he was AWOL. I hope if something ever happened and mine got out someone would check their tags/chip and be nice to them, I'd be worried sick.

Good job, Mike!

Yeah, my ex always got annoyed whenever I took in a runaway. The first thing she would say was don't even think about letting it in our house, or keeping it for that matter.

But now I don't have to deal with that

My Siberian Husky is an escape artist, and a runner. I hope someone does the same for me if she finds a way to run away. It's an inexpensive option to get your dogs chipped, btw.
