AMA DRUG TESTING RIDERS??

http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Mar/e/n080306i.htm

Miguel DuHamel wants the AMA to test for performance enhancing drugs. He mentioned it in the first riders' meeting of the year on Wednesday.

"Obviously, they are doing it in every sport. People are getting caught with HGH, and stuff like that. I wouldn't want our series to be late in addressing that problem," said DuHamel to Super Bike Planet. "I'm offering my help ... Alan (LaBrosse, DuHamel's manager) knows some people with the Olympic testing program.

Miguel says he and his manager have contacts within McGill University in Montreal and with the Olympic Committee. "I'm looking to put everyone on a level playing field. At the same time, it answers the question whether I have been taking them. I'm not and I never have. I just don't want anyone to take them because it is an advantage. You get more stamina, you get more strength," he said.

Does Miguel think a testing program would quell an existing problem or be a preemptive strike against cheaters? "There's always rumors, but rumors are no good. I think you need to have facts," said DuHamel. "I think it will do a lot of people good because it will quelch a lot of rumors. It comes back positive or negative ... It's kinda like a tech teardown. I'm all for it and we're trying to get something going with the AMA."

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Man, what a bunch of do they really think HGH or TEST could keep them going that much longer? I mean roadracing is not that demanding of a physical sport it is more mental.

i think the hgh thing is getting blown outta proportion seeing you can be going to an anti aging clinic and be prescribed to this stuff.. And i read a new study somewhere stating people that begin hgh therapy after age of 40 wont get much outta it. I dunno though something seems to be working for stallone.

I used HgH "stimulants" while training for the military.

Worked real, real well. I had no side effects, other then when you don't take it, you feel weak.
