Angry What really grinds your gears?

I'm long overdue for one. I'll start.

You know what really grinds my gears?

When somebody from another department walks into my office and instead of saying "Hello, everyone" breaks out into another language like, "Bonjour mes amies!" (French). And then somebody sitting somewhere close but has absolutely 0 relevance to the conversation to come feels the unbearable urge to reply in that language just to show off his/her useless knowledge of how to say very few things. Like "Bonjour, Ca Va?". And thats where the conversation stops because neither of them know the actual language nor do they have any business together.

Who wants to join me?

I got another one.

You know what really grinds my gears?

When some customer at a fast food restaurant is being impatient or upset at the employees. Your order was made wrong? Too bad ask them to remake it, they will. Your order is taking more than 30 seconds to make? Chill out and wait. Just because you waive your arms around and show how unthoughtful you are the order isnt going to get there any faster!
Have you ever worked at a fast food place? If no, then STFU and wait for your order. The workers at most places get paid minimum wage and are asked to do an ungodly ammount of work fast, and in a crammed, hazardous, and hot environment.

you know what really grinds my gears...

people that act completely different on the computer than they do in person... i mean why say the things you do on the computer but in reality would never do or act that way? just because you are on the computer does not mean you are a different person...

i also hate liars... you catch them in the lie and they keep trying

i hate it when people with < 100 posts starts a thread similar to a thread that was started months ago.

JK

I hate it when people:
eat/chew with their mouth open, talk with their mouth full, slurp their drink/soup/noodles

eat finger foods with a fork

don't use blinkers

can dish it out, but can't take it

say they're going to do something, but then don't do it

whine about a job THEY accepted

pop their gum

talk on the phone while @ a checkout register

get inside my personal space, while standing in line or next to me

Good simple rant threads are needed every now and then. And don't worry about Amber, she just thinks she's better than everyone else

:HC:

I was driving to Houston the other day and I was blocking this young girl from getting over to the exit lane. NO traffic behind me whatsoever, but she expected me to slow down and let her in. She drove beside me with her blinker on for ~.5 mile and then waved her arms around furiously pointing at the exit as we passed it. I laughed and waved back telling her she was number #1, and pointed behind me to show that all she had to do was slow the fawk down and get behind me.

when someone is at a gas station or other business, and instead of taking a right and going a ways to u-turn, they pull up 3 car lengths from the light and try to cross perpendicular to traffic. it's the kinda thing that causes accident and can kill a biker. makes me furious, they look at you like "I'm too inconsiderate to u-turn, can I cross in front of you and make 3 lanes of people miss a light cuz I'm a lazy "? I never let them do it. it's inherently dangerous, bad practice, and screws up traffic. people get so mad, I'm just mean-bugging them blocking them with my car. I give a lot of fingers for that. so dangerous, so stupid. it's worse when people let them do it, me off even more.
I've been wanting to vent that for a long time.
