RIP - Champion Forest area

Anyone hear anything about this?

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities say speed may have played a role in a deadly crash in north Harris County.

Investigators say two motorcycle riders were traveling eastbound on Champion Forest near Bammel at a high rate of speed.

One of them lost control at a curve in the road, hit the curb and then hit an electric pole.

He died at the scene.

Investigators say he was not wearing a helmet. The other rider was not hurt.

Not a good thing to hear, but considering thats within or at the edges of a neighborhood and 30mph signs.....

Condolences to the families effected by it.

Anyone have any more info? Thats my old neighborhood as well and for some reason very few riders like to wear helmets out there.
Wanna make sure it's not someone I knew.
