I'll help with the cooking (learned from my Dad; pit-master extraordinaire), but if there's already enough cooks I'll help a bit with serving it up.

What we need is this bad boy right here:

bigpit 1
bigpit deleted

This used to be parked in a lot off 2978 just north of 2920 ... haven't seen it in a while, though.

Here's an article about it going to the Twenty-Nine Palms Marine Base to feed a few thousand hungry Marines returning from Iraq:

Pretty sure I've seen that pit at Houston. Looks like u need 10 cords of wood and a logging company on site to get that monster hot.

I have access to a decent size trailer pit. If someone wants to supply the wood for it then that would be great. Let me know if you need it Chris. I cooked for over 300 people with it.

Im +1 for keeping it moto related and things for the Newbs/fam to enjoy throughout the day.

I also think that we should leave the BBQing up to some board memebers and just set up a paypal for donating tward the expenses. So give us a price we need to meet Sol.

Ya can count on me and Crystal to help anyway we can.

I'd prefer that we do this early in the year so it isn't too freaking hot!
