Sooooo...
I am considering getting a new bike, but need a new Cage......
I can afford one bike and a new car but not two......
I have been craving something a little more sporty,
So here is the question

Should I hang on to the Warrior, and pay it off....
Trade the Warrior in on a SuperSport
or Eff the new cage, drive my truck till the wheels fall off, and get two bikes

The two bikes I have been looking at hardest are the R6 and the CBR600RR

why get a new car if you have a itch for peformance, that is silly. save your truck for rainy days. commute on your warrior and get a SS for having fun, just keep it safe and think about keeping the shenanigans to the track.

My vote.....

You probably wouldn't get much for a gas guzzling truck right now on trade in for a car... Since that is what most of the population is doing right now!

My opinion is different than the majority here, I have always felt that having a RELIABLE 4-wheeled vehicle is way more important than a motorcycle(or a toy/hobby as I would consider it). Pay off the bike, and get yourself into a nice honda civic or small truck(save on gas, and tacomas and the like last forever). Eventually you will have saved enough to get the bike you want and it won't put you in a harmful financial situation at the moment or place you in high risk of one in the future.

Think, if you buy the bike you really want now then your truck plops out on you, you'll still need to buy a truck but you'll be a broke foo from buying that bike.

i agree. i voted to pay it off. motorcycling is a hobby more than it is a transportation. It is a bad transportation because it is more expensive, less safe, less reliable and more uncomfortable (weather, long trips etc).

Besides the feeling i get from motorcycling is really why i ride. not to get from place to place. Motorcycling is like shooting a gun in my mind. You feel the rush from feeling of concentrated power between your legs

Man, you're never gonna get the "right" answer on a question like this from anyone! "Who am I?" That's what you need answer.

Every single person here who gives you their advise, is basing that advise on their own personal opinions, perceptions, idealisms, rational, etc., etc., on what and how they think of motorcycling; thereby, how they feel more specifically in regards to Motorcycling vs. Caging.

Every one here has the right answer, because it works for them.

But for the record .....
Of your choices, I'd rather keep my old reliable, beat up truck, and add 2 or more new bikes in the garage. Only when I need a new truck, will I get a new truck... but that's just me.

This is my primary concern, That truck is on it's last leg,(93 Ranger 189K)
Its not worth anything, probably goin to give it to my little brother once I get something new.

Is the truck payed off?

If it is get a new vehicle and pay them off (TRUCK&CURRENT BIKE) before you go and get a SS bike. you never know you may save up and buy one cash i know 03 600RRs can be found for 4k. Dont be in a hurry to get a new toy....its a problem i have.

Well I had really wanted to go with a brand new bike, somthing I know has not been ragged and, I get to log all the miles on....

Besides I happen to know where there is a brand new 06 CBR600RR still sitting on the showroom floor, could probably get away with it for pretty cheap

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
